HIMOINSA has delivered 10 HGY Series generator sets for a mission-critical project that operates exclusively on HVO100 fuel.
HIMOINSA generator sets with Yanmar GY engines, in container version, are one of the most competitive solutions on the market for fixed applications, providing robustness with high operability to meet the most demanding acoustic and environmental requirements.
The HGY Series provides backup power to ‘Salmon Evolution’, Norway's global leader in advanced land-based salmon farming projects. The facility is in Indre Harøy, a strategic area for the Nordic salmon industry, where water pumping and recirculation systems are critical to ensuring the living conditions of salmon at all stages of growth.
The installation of a distributed power generation plant is one of the most critical phases in the system's life cycle. Factors such as noise attenuation, exhaust gas evacuation, fuel supply, grounding system and thermal flow design must be integrated from the initial project, in compliance with technical regulations, good engineering practices and reliability criteria.
After attending events in London, Frankfurt and Singapore, HIMOINSA will participate in DCW Madrid on 29 and 30 October and DCW Paris on 5 and 6 November as part of its Data Centre World 2025 tour.
The company now introduces new models from 275 to 340 kVA, integrated in a new HS70 canopy, designed to maintain the high standards of quality, accessibility and functionality that characterise this range. The new models inherit the functional DNA of the HS generator sets, integrating features that reinforce their best-in-class position in the fixed application market segment.
This decision is backed by the technological reliability of its equipment at a time when the market demands lighting towers that can operate continuously to cope with the season when daylight hours are reduced and the availability of this equipment is essential.
The solution, which will ensure critical power supply in the event of an outage on the main grid, has been installed near the Nhieu Loc Thi Nghe canal in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam's most populous city. The installed generator sets will ensure a reliable, continuous and responsive capability adapted to the system load conditions.
The company has taken the next step in process optimisation to provide the best possible customer service. Customers who register their equipment and activate the warranty within the first 30 days will receive three extra months of coverage.
One of the challenges faced during the project was to ensure the supply of electricity during power outages in the area. HIMOINSA has implemented a comprehensive solution, taking into account the specific characteristics of the Kouriah area and includes 12 HTW 2030 T5 generator sets capable of meeting the energy needs of an industrial site belonging to the metallurgical industry.
Three units of HTW-2030 T5 are supplied to Woolworths - the largest supermarket chain in Australia, providing reliable back-up power to its distribution center in Sydney, NSW.
